Currently, I am an Assistant Professor at Virginia Tech in the department of Statistics.
I received my Ph.D. at Duke University studying at the Institute of Statistics and Decision Sciences
(ISDS).
My complete degree list follows as
My main interests include Bayesian statistics on both a theoretical and inferential level, MCMC mixing theory, Data Augmentation for efficient simulation, large scale stochastic modeling, molecular evolution, and coalescence processes.
In my free time, I enjoy pretty much anything to do with bicycles. While I don't have as much time as I'd like to ride, I do get out at least weekly. Beyond bikes, I can often times be found lingering around coffee shops or perusing music stores.
